Last week the kids and I went on a fantastic vacation to the beach. I packed up a few of my favorite fitness tools and made the time each morning for a quick workout.
Some people like to drink and relax on vacation.
Some people like to workout on vacation.
And some people…..they like to do both! (man-makers are a perfect exercise for a quick, yet intense, workout.

Did I have to workout on vacation? Absolutely not.
I wanted to because I know it makes me feel better both physically and mentally.
I love working out in the hot summer sun with a cool ocean breeze.
I am my OWN motivation, whether I am at home or on vacation.
After a quick morning workout, there was plenty of time for beach time and craziness by the pool. There might have even been a few adult beverages consumed as well. It was vacation after all…..right?!
Never underestimate the power of a workout gang!
